"My husband and I thought that the Memory Café was wonderful! We don't socialize much anymore, and it was great seeing him happy and laughing with others. Opportunities like this make life so much better!" - Care partner and participant

What is a Memory Café?
A Memory Café is a social gathering place for persons with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s, or other dementia and their family and friends.

Cafés meet in a relaxed environment to visit, share common interests, and enjoy refreshments. Each cafe is unique and offers a program or activity that’s stimulating and fun. Activities are tailored to the participants based on their interests. Participants and their caregivers will also receive a nutritious lunch as part of this program. A donation will be requested, but it is not required to receive the meal.

How do I participate?
To participate call ahead for more information and directions, or just come!

If you require assistance to participate, please have someone accompany you.

How is it funded?
Thank you to all the participants, volunteers, partners and host sites that make these Memory Cafés possible. We also gratefully acknowledge AgeOptions, PLOWS Council on Aging, and Aging Care Connections.

There is no charge to attend a Memory Café, but donations are welcome to help cover costs.
