  • From in-home services and support to opportunities for health and wellness, Southwest Suburban Center on Aging is meeting the needs of today's older adults and their families within the community.
• Illinois Department on Aging.
  • The Illinois Department on Aging helps older people live independently in their own homes and communities. As the population ages, services and programs for older people must evolve as well because longevity means more when quality of life is enhanced.
• Illinois Senior Housing
  • Illinois Senior Housing provides a comprehensive and user friendly resource for Illinois Senior Housing services, Senior Housing communities, and Senior Housing facilities.
• Illinois Senior Help Line
  • In addition to local information and assistance sites, the Senior HelpLine provides information on programs and services and links persons 60 years of age and older and their caregivers to local services.
• AARP
  • AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that advocates for  people 50 and over to improve the quality of their lives.
• Medicare
  • Medicare is our country's health insurance program for people age 65 or older. Certain people younger than age 65 can qualify for Medicare, too, including those who have disabilities and those who have permanent kidney failure or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease)
• Area Agency on Aging of Northern Illinois
  • The Northern Illinois Area on Aging is committed to helping older persons live with dignity, safety and independence in their own homes, and optimize the quality of their lives. The Area Agency plans and coordinates a comprehensive network of services for persons 60+
